Surface Finishes
Surface Treatment Options
Improve corrosion resistance, wear performance and appearance with a full range of in-house and partner finishes.
As Machined

Supplied directly after CNC machining with visible tool paths. Ideal for prototypes, fixtures, and functional parts where cost and lead time matter more than cosmetic appearance.
Anodizing

Electrochemical treatment for aluminum that forms a protective oxide layer to improve corrosion resistance, appearance, and wear performance.
Bead Blasting

Uses fine abrasive media to create a clean, uniform matte or satin texture on metal surfaces.
Black Oxide

Chemical conversion finish for ferrous metals that creates a dark, low-reflective surface with minimal dimensional change.
DLC Coating

Thin, hard coating selected for low friction, wear resistance, and reduced surface adhesion.
Electropolishing

Electrochemical process that smooths microscopic irregularities, improves cleanliness, and enhances corrosion resistance.
Heat Treatment

Controlled heating and cooling process used to improve hardness, strength, wear resistance, or dimensional stability.
Nickel Plating

Deposits a uniform nickel layer for corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and a bright metallic appearance.
Gold Plating

Electroplating process that deposits a thin and durable gold layer for excellent corrosion resistance, conductivity, solderability, and premium appearance.
Powder Coating

Applies a dry powder and cures it into a durable protective layer with strong corrosion resistance and decorative color.
PVD Coating

Vacuum-deposited thin coating used to improve hardness, wear resistance, friction performance, or appearance.
Zinc Plating

Applies a sacrificial zinc layer to steel or iron parts for cost-effective corrosion protection.
